Head Football Coach
Coach Brewer

COACHING CAREER:
As Head Coach of the Bulldogs, Coach Brewer is no stranger to the McKinney
North Football program. Joining the program in 2015, he served at the Offensive Coordinator and
Assistant Head Coach for the past three seasons. He has also coached the Tight Ends, Offensive Line, and
various Spring Sports. He played a vital role in seven straight playoff appearances. He is proud to have
been a part of the 2019 MNHS undefeated district championship season.

 

EDUCATION:
Coach Brewer is a graduate of Texas State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise
Science. He was a letterman at Texas State.

FAMILY:
Coach Brewer is married to his high school sweetheart Taylor, a former MISD teacher at Webb elementary. They have two daughters Harper and Molly, who they love dearly. The Brewer’s love to travel and spend time outdoors.

2017-2018 MISD Inspirational Teacher Award

PHILOSOPHY:
Coach Brewer believes that our #1 job as teachers and coaches is to enrich the lives of the
student-athletes that come through our program. Athletics plays a crucial role in the overall educational
process. We strive to make our student-athletes the best version of themselves after graduation and
strong members of the community, excellent employees, and great husbands and fathers. As a program,
we have a unique ability to have a positive impact on the lives of many people.
